A CMS innovation: the New Disposable Full-Coverage Frock
provides cost-effective barrier control and optimum food safety.

June 15, 2006 – For full coverage protective apparel and cost savings in foodservice or food processing environments, CMS (Carroll Manufacturing and Sales), introduces the first disposable barrier-control garment with apron and sleeves attached. The exclusive Flavorseal® Frock is an alternative to the "white butcher coat" used in the food industry. Used to enhance food safety, the embossed, 3-mil polyethylene frock repels liquids and offers warmth with light weight.

The one-piece garment fits all sizes so employees spend less time preparing for work, ultimately reducing production time loss and saving money. The full coverage frock is cost effective because no additional protective items must be purchased. Disposable frocks do not require laundering after use, storage space is minimal, and no daily inventory needs to be maintained.

Tested to the highest standards, the Flavorseal Frock creates a clean environment, thus protecting food against contamination. According to a study conducted by a large meat processor, "white butcher coats" contain bacteria after several uses and can reintroduce "old" bacteria into a sterilized plant. The use of a clean disposable frock will reduce the risk of bacterial contamination. The USDA-accepted frock is allowed within facilities for direct food contact.
